RIC was established in 2017. We focus on Occupational Cancer in the Fire Service. Our goal is to reduce the occurrence of Occupational Cancer below the national average for the general public. We work toward accomplishing this goal by educating fire departments and firefighters on established best practices. Our courses are part classroom, part practical and are highly effective in establishing awareness, cultural and organization change, & SOP development required.
A Louisville native, James has a decade of firefighting experience serving as a both career and volunteer firefighter. James graduated Cum Laude from University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry . He received his Doctorate in the Bio-Medical Sciences from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He has combined his firsthand experience as a firefighter with his extensive background in Cancer and Cellular & Molecular Biology to provide first class training to the Fire Service.
